Our house is in the heart of a traditional Spanish village, where the locals are friendly and endearing. There are many amenities on the doorstep including 2 supermarkets, petrol & repairs, bars, restaurants, newsagent, pharmacy, dentist, optician, doctor, hairdressers, barber, beauty salon, post office and the traditional church square where many fiestas and celebrations are enjoyed by the locals and holidaymakers alike. Just 20 mins from the coast, 30 from the airport and 40 from Murcia city. The space All our living spaces enjoy the morning sun, making the house bright and airy. With 3 outdoor areas offering places to eat, sunbathe, relax and look across the village rooftops and beyond. Upon entering, the marble stairs take you to the first floor with open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. Large patio doors allow the light to flood in, tempting you onto the Juliet balcony. This room has a modern ceiling fan and aircon providing both cold and warm air. We have created a comfy and inviting space for you to relax, cook and dine. You should find everything you need in our well equipped kitchen. Also on this level, the 2nd bedroom with double bed, hanging clothes rail, shelf and nightstands. It's not the largest of rooms but provides a comfortable bed with stylish fittings and bedding. A modern ceiling fan/light is fitted. From the entrance stairs is a small lobby with doors to: Family shower room with walk-in shower, toilet , basin, LED mirror and window. Courtyard at the rear with storage unit housing the laundry facilities. Quite a nice little area to sit and catch some breeze and shade, we have provided a rattan sofa, foldaway table and outdoor rug to set the scene. Stairs from the dining area take you to our favourite room: The spacious master suite, occupying the entire top floor with great natural light, its own ensuite shower room and roof terrace. A comfy king size bed, bedside units, dressing table and stool, storage unit with hairdryer supplied. Large built-in wardrobe with hangers and shelf unit. Swivel comfy chair. Air con unit with cold and warm air, modern ceiling fan and wall heater in the ensuite. The roof terrace is a private area overlooking the village rooftops, views of the countryside, mountains and glimpses of the Mar Menor. Enjoy this area with sun loungers, dining set and parasol. A great spot for breakfast as the sun rises, sunbathing, dining and evening drinks soaking up the Spanish lifestyle. All of our guests have commented on how everything you could possibly need is provided. In the cooler months, we also provide extra rugs, winter duvets, cosy throws and hot water bottles. Our Welcome Basket is always greatly appreciated, so no need to rush out to the shops straight away. We look forward to meeting you. Guest access You will have the entire house and facilities to yourselves. With private entrance from the street. We also have a lockable area should you need this for bikes, etc although we may need access to the garage during your stay but this will be discussed beforehand. Other things to note Please note, there are stairs to the accommodation on level 1 and 2, if you have mobility restrictions, we are sorry that our house isn't going to be suitable. The TV has International channels, and access to YouTube and Netflix (you will need your own account details for access). There is a DVD player with a small choice of films, radio/CD player, Bluetooth speaker.
