We're long time guests and new hosts, eager to welcome you! This space is on the lower level of our newly renovated home and is easily accessible to DC. Clean, comfortable, and stylish home for your perfect getaway. Welcome to our home! Your space is on the lower level and we live upstairs, but the unit is completely separate from ours with its own private entrance. The interior features a cozy and modern living room with a smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, two cozy bedrooms, a dining space, and a small bathroom. Outside, you'll find a shared patio area with a fire pit, BBQ grill, and picnic table, perfect for enjoying meals with loved ones. Our backyard is a peaceful oasis with trees perfect for hanging a hammock and relaxing with a good book. You will have full private access to the lower level of the house with your own private entrance and private access to all rooms in the listing (bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen/dining). If you need access to the laundry room, let us know and we can provide access. We live just upstairs with our own separate entrance, so are just steps away if you need anything. We share the back yard and patio area, but will of course be conscientious of our guests' privacy. We like to introduce ourselves, but other than that we will give you as much space as you'd like. We live on in a separate part of the premises so we are generally available to answer any questions you may have and to give recommendations. Our home is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, perfect for those looking to escape the busy city life. The area is safe and family-friendly, with plenty of green spaces to enjoy, including the nearby Wheaton Regional Park. The park is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike, with walking trails, baseball fields, an ice skating rink, playgrounds, and beautiful gardens that are perfect for picnics. For those looking to venture further, our home is conveniently located near a bus stop that provides easy access to the metro, which will take you directly to Washington DC. Whether you're here for business or leisure, our neighborhood is the perfect place to call home during your stay. Getting around our neighborhood is a breeze. It's easiest if you have a car, but if not then the bus stop is conveniently located just outside the house, providing easy access to the metro and the rest of the city. If you do have a car, we provide free parking in the driveway (please do not park in the street). Accessing the park and all of its amenities is just a short walk away. If you are staying for more than 14 days, we will have a cleaning service come every 10-14 days to clean and change linens. This is both a courtesy and a requirement to make sure that the place stays nice and clean! This area is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of DC, but that also means that you are not in the center of the busy city. If you don't have a car, there is a bus just outside of our house that is about a 10 minute ride to the metro, from which you can access DC and all that it has to offer.
