Welcome to "The Lakehouse!" The Lakehouse is on a private lake near Lake of the Arbuckles in Sulphur, Oklahoma with 2 large wood decks overlooking the backyard that blends into the edge of the water. The home has a private dock. This is the sister property to the "Revival Lakehouse" that is two doors down and also right on the water. Both lakehouses can be rented out together to accommodate a larger group up to 26 people. Discounts are offered when renting both. The space The lower floor of this home has been completely remodeled. New expansive farmhouse and bay windows give stunning views of the lake in all directions and let in gobs of sunlight! The kitchen has a new wraparound quartz counter that ends with a barstool breakfast countertop looking out over the water. New apron sink, champagne-trimmed GE cafe appliances, porcelain wood plank floors and rustic shiplap round out our kitchen's "farmhouse/lakehouse" look. Kitchen includes a double oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and cookware & dishes you need to create a meal. One of the centerpieces of the house is the custom-built farm table with seating for 14 persons. A new laundry room with new Samsung washer and dryer give you space to do your laundering. A large Weber propane grill is outside. A newly remodeled outdoor covered gazebo near the fire pit and grill offers the added option of outdoor meals. Some firewood is provided for the fire pit. Both the upper and lower floors of the house have a large walk-out porch with safety railings and incredible views of the lake. Base floor porch has white wicker chairs and tables with wicker fan/lights overhead. Sipping on a drink here in the shade of the day is where some prefer to stay. The lakehouse has four private bedrooms upstairs and a custom-built day bed with a bay window and slide-out trundle downstairs. Upstairs there is also a sofa bed in the large landing. Two included air mattresses add to the total to provide sleeping arrangements for up to 14 people. The new living room boasts a custom-built wood and stone fireplace with mantle and Samsung Smart TV loaded with streaming apps and a brand new LoveSac giant couch. The home is decorated with lake and farmhouse themed decor. After a full day of fun on the water, you can watch the sunset rest upon the lake from a wicker chair on the back porch, warm yourself by the fire pit or come inside to stream your TV shows in the living room by the fireplace. The home comes with a canoe and three kayaks for water fun. A professional Tornado foosball is our latest addition to the home. You have to play this table to believe it! Did I mention fishing? This lake has some of the best bass, crappie, bluegill fishing around. Please bring your own poles and tackle. Fishing is catch & release. Guest access Parking is sufficient for 3-4 vehicles and also has space to back in a boat. Other things to note This property is on a lake, in a wooded area, so please be aware that is nestled in the environment that is natural, which includes animals and bugs. No doubt you will encounter some of them while you are here, it is part of the experience. We take special care to use strict pest control in and around the property, but no process is foolproof. Spiders abound around lakes, so if you see any spiderwebs, please know that we knocked them down just the night before, but they remake them every night.
