Townhouse on the banks of the Seine in La Bouille

We offer a complete townhouse in one of the most beautiful villages in France. This typical La Bouille accommodation is ideally located on the banks of the Seine, with unobstructed views of it from its four levels, in the heart of this charming village. This is an old art gallery, some of which we have kept on the ground floor and 1st floor in order to exhibit works there later. The space From the house you can walk to the village, take the ferry, have a drink in a bar, eat in one of the many restaurants, buy fresh bread for breakfast, do some shopping in its grocery bar, enjoy the green spaces and pedestrian docks. Or you can also simply relax while admiring the boats sailing on the Seine from the four levels of the house and prepare your visits to the surroundings. We leave documentation available to visit the surroundings or go hiking. For sleeping, the house has as standard a large bed for two people in a very spacious bedroom, two small beds in another large bedroom. The bedding is of hotel quality. In this last bedroom, there is also an individual convertible armchair available. The house, with an area of 120 m2, consists of: - On the ground floor, a living room with a large table that can accommodate 12 guests, a reading or relaxation area by the window on the Seine side, a toilet and a laundry room (not equipped). - At the landing level, a dining area for 4/5 people, with a sofa for relaxing. This landing can also be used as a workspace. - On the 1st floor, a fully equipped kitchen with storage room, and a living room with views of the Seine. - On the 2nd floor, a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet, a bedroom with view of the Seine, with 2 single beds, a convertible armchair and an office area. - On the 3rd floor, a spacious bedroom with high ceiling, equipped with a queen-size bed (160), a relaxation area with double views: of the Seine and the village on the cliff side. *** Amenities available to guests *** - Bed linen and towels are provided for the stay - Umbrellas (Normandy requires them!) - Shopping bags - Various games, and books - Tourist information - Hairdryer - Iron - Bluetooth amplifier for music in the lounge/kitchen and living room - Video projector available in HDMI, USB key or connection sharing with your Smartphone for broadcasting your own content - Bluetooth speaker paired with the projector - The desk in the bedroom is equipped with a 17-inch screen (HDMI), a docking station, and a mouse In the kitchen: - Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, coffee maker, toaster - Fridge/freezer, induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher - Complete set of kitchen utensils - Cleaning materials and products - Trash bags *** Shops, restaurants *** - Bakery, small grocery bar, many very good restaurants and bars in the village, within walking distance. - Supermarket and pizza distributor 5 minutes' drive. - Possibility of home delivery of meals from several restaurants/pizzerias. - Artisanal shops with leather goods, sewing creations and antiques. - Regular exhibitions at the Grenier à Sel, or in the party room. - Market on Wednesday mornings. - Green spaces and the banks of the Seine nearby. *** Important *** - Due to its many floors, and therefore the presence of stairs, this house is not suitable for young children or people with limited mobility. - The rooms do not have doors, but insulation curtains. - No washing machine available (there are self-service washing machines and dryers 10 minutes away) Guest access Free parking is available in the village, including in front of the house (if spaces are available) and in particular in the large parking lot of the ferry, on the banks of the Seine, 200 m from the house.
