Your own private slice of forest on 20 acres! Walk a 20 yard trail winding through the woods to get to your secluded tiny cabin. It measures 8x12 feet and has a full size bed - brand new construction in 2018. East Creek is a community art center and studio focusing on ceramic education. It's a rustic, camping-like experience with shared restroom. The space This secluded cabin in the woods is the perfect quiet "glamping" getaway for one or two. -Full size bed -Small solar power system for lights -6x8 foot window into secluded woods -Indoor propane heater with one fuel tank included (green bottle propane) -Shared bathroom East Creek is a rustic community art studio with bunkhouse, and there are often art events happening on the property, especially on weekends. We have a 40 foot wood-fired kiln that can accommodate as many as 1,000 pots at a time, which is the focus of our community. There is art everywhere and a 40x90 foot studio building, where the bathroom is located. As an active art studio, the space may have materials and other clutter present. You will be free to wander the studio, kilns, and 20 acres of coastal mountain forest. We're working on several projects around the property to improve accommodations, so please excuse our dust! Guest access This listing is for a private cabin, but East Creek has a lot of shared space, including available bbq, microwave, wood fired pizza oven, fire pan, etc. The bathroom is shared (though not by many) and does not currently have a shower available. You will be welcomed as one of us and you'll be able to use our shared items freely. Other things to note -East Creek is a camping like experience -Campfires are permitted most nights, but it's safety first -The rustic studio bathroom is shared and there's no shower (see photos) -There is creek access on the property -East Creek is a work in progress and you should expect a rustic, funky art studio vibe with super friendly folks around to help you out!
