Friendly hosts welcome you into their home on the edge of Saxmundham. We have a spacious double room downstairs with a private bathroom upstairs with bath and overhead shower. There is a kettle and coffee machine in the room and you are welcome to share our kitchen. Saxmundham is a friendly market town flanked with pretty woods and countryside. It is a great jumping off point to explore the heritage coast close to Aldeburgh, Southwold, Snape Maltings, RSPB Minsmere and Framlingham castle. The space Our house is a semi detached four bedroom property on a quiet street. Our guestroom is downstairs overlooking the driveway where guests can park. There is a very comfortable double bed in the room and in addition we have either a travel cot or a folding bed suitable for either a child or small adult. There are venetian blinds in the room so you can choose your level of privacy during the day and curtains to block out any light coming through in the early morning. Guest access The guest room is next to the front door so it is very easy to slip in and out. We are happy for guests to have space in our fridge and use our kitchen whilst we are out during the day and there is access to the enclosed garden which is through our lounge to the rear of the house. Close to the room is a shared toilet and you will have a private bathroom just for yourselves upstairs with bath and overhead shower. During your stay Robert and I work away from home most days of the week. We are about most of the weekends and evenings and will be happy to share our local knowledge. We are passionate about Suffolk and the abundance of things to do and see in our area. Other things to note We offer a lovely help yourself breakfast of eggs, breads and spreads (local where possible), yoghurt, granola and what ever happens to be in the fruit bowl! We have Betty, a friendly and calm greyhound. She loves plenty of fuss but is also happy to retreat behind her gate in the lounge. She is fine with other dogs, however if you wish to bring a pet with you we would need to discuss this with you first.
