Old World glamour on the park!

Welcome to our bright, beautifully detailed home. We have restored (and continue to nurture!) this spacious park-front apartment in an 1896 neoclassical building. Pine floors, 28 windows, french doors, and 127 years of history. Borrow our hammock for a day in St. Hanshaugen park: grab a beer at the open air resto, grill some gourmet sausages from Gutta På Haugen, and enjoy the Oslo fjord view. :) Situated in a neighborhood of cafes, art galleries, and boutiques, we’re also 5 mins from downtown. The space Living room: Spacious, elegant. The third floor windows facing three directions mean this room is full of sunlight all day long. Imported mahogany table seats 8 and the modular sofa sleeps one (if you need it). Kitchen: Airy, welcoming. The kitchen includes all the amenities you’ll need to make delicious meals and mix cutting edge cocktails. Includes a breakfast table, ample counter space, and a recently tuned piano. Bedroom: Simple, upscale. Nice linens, dark wood accents, furnishings from Morocco, Spain, India, and the Navajo nation. View from the bed includes park greenery and heritage architecture along Ullevålsveien. Real “Omg I’m in Europe” feeling. Bathroom: Clean, comfortable. Heated flooring, shower with good water pressure, glass shelving, Miele washing machine. Bathroom 2: Small, clean. Convenient when you’re about to run out the door! :) But the best part of this apartment is the park. It is one of the highest points in the city and provides an incredible view as well as a welcoming upscale summer vibe as groups of young people gather to soak up the sun and socialize. Very ‘gramable! Guest access You can access the apartment! It’s a one-bedroom on the 3rd floor. Other things to note Occasionally there are “Russ” parties in the park at night, which can be kind of loud (though very entertaining). Last year they ended at the end of June.
