Sea Cottage on Agapanthus Unwind - Relax - Enjoy Sea Cottage is my very special cottage. You will be treated to amazing views of the Kogelberg mountains and the sea. Betty's Bay forms part of the UNESCO Kogelberg Biosphere, well known for its unspoilt nature, mountains, fynbos, beaches, lakes, and the protected African Penguin colony. You are 150m from the quaint Draad Baai which leads you to the majestic Silversands Beach to enjoy endless walks. The space Views galore - mountain and sea views. You will be treated to moon rises, and spectacular sunsets enjoyed with your favourite beverage. Sea Cottage is a double storey house, with three downstairs bedrooms (2 queen and a single) and 2 large bathrooms (shower, basin, and toilet), one upstairs and one downstairs. Each bedroom has access to either an enclosed play area/garden and the fynbos garden. Follow the path to the Southern Boubou bench where these birds can often be seen or heard in the thickets. The downstairs lounge has two large comfy couches, great for relaxing and enjoying a good book. Choose one from my little library. They are my treasured reads so please don’t pack them by mistake. After a day spent on the beach, enjoy a refreshing outdoor shower. Upstairs, opens onto a large sun filled open plan living area, a beautiful space to share whilst cooking, taking in mountain and sea views from the decks and relaxing sipping wine. The decks - you are guaranteed windless access to one of the decks even when it is windy or raining. Sea Cottage is toddler friendly. Guest access You have access to the whole house other than some storage areas. The listed rate is for two people sharing. Other things to note * Checkin from 14h00 and check out from 10h00. Sometimes there is some leeway on these times. * Only service animals allowed. * No events /parties, but do enjoy a hearty meal with friends. * Braai ing/ barbequing, in strong winds is not recommended * No fishing equipment may be stored in the house. * A cleaning service can be arranged for stays longer than 5 days at an extra cost. * Please be aware that wild animals like mongoose, porcupine, tortoise and Grysbok snd the occasional baboon are seen. Please don't feed the animals.
