In the solitude of the Plačkov forest

Welcome to the solitude of the forest! The cottage is located in a secluded forest near the village of Plačkov near Humpolce in the beautiful nature of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The swimming pond is about 500 meters away. We have a beautiful clean bathing habitat at the cottage. The nearest shops are 3 km away in Humpolec. Restaurants 2 km away. The space Accommodation in a cottage The cottage for rent provides accommodation for 1 to 7 people in 2 bedrooms. Bedrooms, rooms and other rooms: In the attic there is a main large bedroom with 5 beds. One double bed and 3 single beds. As a second bedroom, you can use the space on the ground floor by the fireplace, where there is a separate bed that can be unfolded as an airport right in front of the beautiful glass stove. Bed linen and towels are included. Just because of the remoteness of the cottage, you'll have to make the beds yourself. The cottage is off-the-grid. Or without connection to public networks (we are in the forest). Even so, we managed to provide a shower and a sink with running water, it is only necessary to heat the water in the wood boiler, which takes about half an hour to heat the water for showering. The cottage has its own well with utility water. The toilet is modern compostable (odorless) and is right in the cottage, so you don't have to go to the toilet in the woods :) Heating: The cottage is heated by a modern wood-burning fireplace, of course, wood is included in the price. Upon arrival you will have wood ready for the fire, however, it may be cold in the cottage depending on the current weather. The cottage heats up quickly. By arrangement, I can heat the cottage for you on the day of arrival in the stove. Transport, parking: Parking is available right at the cottage. We rent the cottage all year round, but it is necessary to realize that it is in the forest and the last 500 meters are on a gravel forest road. It may happen that in the event of a snow calamity it will not be possible to arrive at the cottage by your car (it is possible to arrange it in another way). But it hasn't happened in the last few years :) Check-in is on the day of arrival after 3pm and check-out on the day of departure by 10am. Catering In the kitchen you will find all the equipment (except for heavy-duty appliances). We cook on a PB cooker or on a stove. The restaurant is 3 km away. You can also eat at the kiosk on the beach of Plačkovský pond Pařezáč, which is about 500 meters from the cottage. Cottage amenities The cottage is off-the-grid, or without connection to public networks. We operate in harmony with nature. Electricity in the cottage is provided by a solar power plant, which can easily handle lighting, charging your electronics and a refrigerator for food and running the pump from the well. However, it does not allow us to use appliances such as a microwave and kettle, let alone a washing machine and dishwasher. At least you will try what it looked like a few decades ago, in every household in the Czech Republic :) We cook on a PB cooker or on a stove. The water is heated by a wood boiler. But for the romance of being alone, it's really worth it :) You won't even find a TV here, so if you can't do without it, you should stay at home :) But we have provided Wi-Fi. Guest access The cottage is all available only to you. By arrangement, it is also possible for larger groups of travelers who could sleep in their own tents on the meadow that belongs to the cottage. Other things to note Before you leave, please remove the sheets and bed linen from the beds. Removal of garbage and cleaning of fireplaces. Please also wash the used dishes.
