Enjoy a stay in the former home of the painters Fritz and Hermine Overbeck in a modernly furnished 2-room apartment in a friendly and lively multi-generational house with its own terrace and garden access. The apartment is centrally located (shopping possibility, S-Bahn connection on foot) and at the same time in a green oasis in a scenic location (Schönebecker Aue, Bremer Schweiz). We invite every guest to visit the Overbeck Museum. Two secured bicycle parking spaces available. The space The apartment consists of two comfortably furnished rooms, as well as bathroom and kitchen. Everything is at ground level and barrier-free. The living room has a table with 4 chairs, a sofa and a wing chair with footboard. On the shelf there are various literature, games and excursion tips. The bedroom has a large box spring bed with several blankets for two people, clothes rack and various shelves. If necessary, a third person can sleep in the living room by arrangement. For this we can provide a mattress and bedding plus bed linen. A travelling cot for toddlers can be provided. The bathroom has a floor-level "rain shower" and everything necessary to have the greatest possible comfort. Towels will be provided. The kitchen is also equipped with everything to ensure a self-sufficient supply: dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, oven, electric hand mixer, etc.. In front of the kitchen is the terrace with a view of the garden. Terrace furniture and upholstery are available. A sun sail is stretched over the terrace in summer, which also keeps off light rain well. A charcoal barbeque is on the terrace. In the basement we have set up a new washer-dryer, which is exclusively available to our guests. This allows up to 8 kg of laundry to be washed and up to 5 kg of laundry to be dried. In the summer months, we also offer a drying rack on the terrace where the laundry can be dried outside. Bicycles can be parked in the lockable bicycle shed. Guest access The apartment is self-contained and is available to the guests alone together with the terrace. The large community garden with sun chair, bank and Playground is welcome to be used.
