Discover a unique location on the serene Baltic Sea, known as the archipelago of Västervik, or in Swedish "Tjust Skärgård". Our charming summer house is located on a picturesque peninsula, near the cozy harbor town of Loftahammar. This house offers a rare private beach by Swedish standards, complete with a spacious jetty and sun deck. Start your day with a refreshing dip in the crystal clear waters and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. The space The private property includes a main residence with a total of 5 sleeping places and a smaller waterfront cottage with 2 additional bedrooms. One of these bedrooms has a bunk bed, with the lower bed 120 cm wide and the upper bed 90 cm wide. The two houses are connected by several terraces on three levels. All terraces are equipped with fencing and have several lockable access gates. We chose this setup at the time, so that our dog can walk freely and safely between the house and the beach. Guest access In principle, as a guest, you have access to all areas except for a large closet on the loft in which some private items are stored. You also have access to the small house on the water. This house has a kitchenette with fridge/freezer, living room with table and chairs and 2 bedrooms and a loft. The loft is private and contains a number of private items. We rent out our house to a maximum of 5 people (family). Other things to note THE LARGE HOUSE: - Total living area: Approximately 125m², including a spacious loft with 4 beds. - No smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the house. - Entrance: Spacious hall with coat rack and shoe rack. - Living room: Large dining table with 8 chairs, armchair, 3.5-seater sofa, coffee table, fireplace and a 55” TV with internet connection (no TV subscription, but apps such as Netflix are available). - Master bedroom: Located on the ground floor, with a double bed (180x200cm), large 4-door sliding cabinet, dressing table, chest of drawers and glass sliding doors overlooking the sea. - Loft: Contains 4 beds in bedstee/cabin style, each with a mattress of 120 cm wide. Beds are low to the ground and equipped with wall sockets and lighting, ideal for children but less suitable for older guests. Access via a fixed but steep staircase. - Kitchen: Equipped with induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, freezer, refrigerator, Jura coffee machine, filter coffee maker, kettle and possibly a Nespresso machine. Tap water is drinkable, and there is an extra tap for filtered water. - Bathroom: Fully tiled, with underfloor heating, spacious shower, sink with cabinets, heated towel radiator, washing machine and dryer. - Air conditioning unit with remote control, also used for heating in winter. - Toilet: Connected to a 3m³ septic tank, therefore flushes with less water than usual. - Internet/WiFi: Available free of charge; fiber optic fast connection. - Bed linen: Guests must bring their own bed linen and towels, renting bed linen may be possible at an additional cost. SMALL HOUSE DIRECTLY BY THE SEA: - Area: Approximately 35m². - Kitchen: Small kitchen with fridge/freezer. - Living room: Table and chairs. - Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms with bunk beds, and a private loft with water sports equipment (loft not accessible to guests). - Outdoor kitchen: With sink and running water. - Outdoor shower: Sun-heated outdoor shower for 10 minutes of hot water (May-September). The Sea, Beach and Terrace - Sea water: Slightly brackish, minimal tidal action. - Jetty: Ideal for sunbathing and diving (deep enough to dive only at the end). - Terrace furniture: 3 large chairs, 5 sun loungers, 2 parasols, large lounge sofa on the middle terrace, dining table with 10 chairs and 2 sun beds on the highest terrace, small sofa and table on the sun terrace by the jetty. - Water sports: Use of 2 SUP boards possible. Boat and jet ski not for rent. - Rentals in Loftahammar: Boats, bicycles, kayaks, etc. for rent at the tourist office; it is possible to have the rental boat brought to our jetty. PETS: - Pets: Allowed if kept tidy. AREA: - Quiet area with mainly Swedish residents. Busier during midsummer week/weekend. USE AND LIABILITY: - Maximum occupancy: 5 people. - Damage and negligence: The tenant is liable for damage caused during the stay. Unreported damages will be recovered. - Technical installations: No refund for defects, repair will be carried out as soon as possible. - Footwear: Please enter the house without shoes. - Final cleaning: Optional for €150. - Guest manual: Available in the house. The host is not liable for personal injury, damage, theft or loss of property.
