Due to its height of almost 90 meters and the low volume of traffic, your enjoyment of nature is not diminished. On the Belgian side of the river, the Eifel-Ardennes cycle path stretches for a total length of about 112 km. From St. Vith in Belgium, the route leads over 36 km without major inclines along the log cabin to the lively city of Prüm with its many shops, restaurants and attractions such as the St. Salvator Basilica. An ideal starting point for day trips. Due to the proximity to the highway and the location in the border triangle of Germany-Belgium-Luxembourg, you can easily reach many other interesting destinations by car, such as the castle ruins of Burg-Reuland (approx. 15 minutes), the Eifel Zoo (approx. 20 minutes), the historic city of Malmedy with its charming old town and impressive abbey (approx. 30 minutes) or the adventure pool in Bitburg (about 35 minutes).
