The beautiful natural environment surrounded with Agar-Wood (Gaharu) trees combined with modern house design, integrated with spacious yard and open roof-top to hangout with everyone. Bathrooms dedicated inside each room with bath-tub installed should be your perfect extension of relaxing and enjoying your pleasant stay here. The space Located in the centre of the town; 5 minutes drive to Segamat train and bus station. The house is surrounded by Agarwood (Gaharu) trees which the lady host has planted since 6 years ago. Feast your eyes with the essence of natural environment surrounded with agar-wood trees. Agarwood incense has a rich, earthy smell that is often described as woody, musky, or sweet. Recently renovated; Completed in Feb 2023 with modern and industrial design. "Glasshouse" is named after the design and structure of the house. You will be welcomed with a lot of sunlight from entryway to the common area due to the glass rooftop and wall and you can fully enjoy the nature view while chilling in the house. We would like you to be aware and note that the common space like living and dining area can be warm on sunny day even though air conditioning is fully on. You should know that there is no sofa provided in the house but seat cushions, bar stools and chairs are available. This is open concept design where the common space is combined with living and dining area. The island is custom made and built from concrete cement and specially designed for multi-purposes, you can either dine or work here. There are total of 4 bedrooms for 8 guests comes with automatic door lock and individual bathroom equipped with bathtubs. Kindly take note that there is 1 out of 4 bathrooms equipped with shower only and no bathtub. Feel free to bring along bath bombs so you can have warm and cosy bubble bath here during your stay! We are the first and only homestay in town that provides standing bathtub at affordable price. When the weather is calm, we strongly recommend you to take a stroll around the garden path and walkway outside the house. You would see small courtyard with wood seesaw (designed by our host) and benches. Out of the premise, you would reach Rock Garden with just 5 minutes walk and it is public park equipped with playground, picnic & jogging facilities. We also have open rooftop for viewing and relaxing. The stairs to go up to the rooftop is outside of the house. Guest access You are free to enjoy the coffee, tea and snacks and cup noodles (limited to one per guest) placed in the kitchen. You will have access to the entire house with private entrance and shared car park.  The TV with karaoke set in the living hall is connected with WiFi so you can watch Netflix and Youtube with your own login details.  Other things to note Segamat is known as "Durian" town so if you need recommendation durian feel free to let us know once you have checked in! Furry friends are welcomed but please inform the host prior booking and must keep on leash and under supervision at all times. There is no public transport access near to the house, so if you are coming here on bus or train, you should call a cab directly. Car is needed to get around in town and we can share private hire contact details if needed. An ideal getaway for couples or a small group.
