So we will help when needed or what we can’t fix, we have a handy man who helped us finish our 2nd level available. Also have Mary Kay products and Heavenly Hankies for purchase. We do have 3 rescue dogs. *Raven, Our 2yr old Border Collie/Husky mix. She is eager to love and hug on you(literally) She is learning her manners to stay on all four when she greets others. She barks to get your attention on her. * Korra, our Border Collie/Lab mix. Just a yr old, learning her manners. Loves loves people. Squirrels not so much. She barks at squirrels like there is no tomorrow. During daytime hours. Both Raven and Korra live on the main floor. *Mia our Blue Heeler mix lives on the second floor in her 2 rooms space. She has been challenged by a local dog in her own back yard. The dog drug his owner across a vacant lot up to our chain link fence towards Mia. Since then she is fearful of other dogs. Her bark is worse than her intention. She can forget with strangers she is suppose to be mean & vicious. It’s a delayed thought. She is leashed trained and doesn’t leave her room without it. We also have a protective gate inside her room to keep from having accidental escapes when her room door is open. She will bark as a greeting and can continue to bark from unfamiliar sounds. If instructed in a calm voice to “stop barking” and “leave it” she will listen. We ask guest to give her space when she leaves her room and on the stairwell. She has a purpose to go outside to do her thing. And that’s usually her focus and on tennis balls. So you will notice tennis balls in the yard, the front porch and foyer. She takes them with her every where. For animal inquiry visits, we ask your animal be on a leash as well in the hallway and stairway. We are a dog loving family. We do charge a pet cleanup fee. We all love our fury family members Not all guests can tolerate fury remains. so extra details and time are put into hair removal in the guest rooms. Stairway and east part of hallway, we do our best to clean up and not stir up Mias sparkles left behind. My husband Curtis is now at home Full time due to Parkinson’s. If the front door gives you a problem, he is there to let you in, just give Him time to get there. He can move slower than molasses at times. And his face looks stern, from the PD muscle Issues. Which disguises what a very sweet man he is. I am a year post back surgery. With artificial disks. What a couple we make. I do ride a Harley Three wheeler. For some odd reason, my back loves the ride on my trike. I do not fit the Harley stereotype. Which cracks me up!! But I ride to work everyday on my trike and rides on the weekends with my daughter. My cohost Cody is my youngest, Grad from Arnold Mo. he has his own 2 room flat with Mia. On the second level too. He works til 11pm. So if Mia is barking. She calms down when her human comes back home. He will take her down the stairwell if your doors are open. If the doors are closed he will take her down the service steps. You only share the steps and a little of the hallway with Him and Mia. Most hardly see him. Other things to note There are two security recording devices: 1- the Nest on the front door as the door bell 2-the Ring in the back yard for potentially escaping dog chasing squirrels. No recording devices are inside the house
