This house was meticulously crafted with love and attention by a married couple from Italy, at every corner and turn there is a feature of the house to marvel in and enjoy, artworks, sculptures, mosaics and more! With a big open plan living space, cosy kitchen and second story bedroom with vistas of the mountains across the river, Casa de Los Artistas is a relaxing home to enjoy nature and the Costa Rican lifestyle of Pura Vida. The lush green gardens and outdoor spaces make this house a special place to stay, including a wood fired pizza oven for a fun night of cooking and winding jungle trails that will lead you to the river with plenty of areas to relax and unwind. Guests will have access to the entire house and grounds (minus the basement). There is another small house located on the other side of the property grounds that is permanently occupied (200m away). The residents keep themselves to the local vicinity of their house and the property grounds have plenty of space for everybody to enjoy it in private. Guests will be able to contact me directly on my phone throughout their stay and I live just a short walk away, as a local resident of the area. Discover the Talamanca Mountains of Costa Rica in the small town of Canaan, nestled in the foothills of the Chirripo National Park. Canaan town has all you will need for a relaxing stay in the mountains with a local restaurant, bakery, cheese factory and butterfly sanctuary with cafe, you're sure to find something to spark your interest. Casa de Los Artistas is located just a 5-minute walk to the town with a plaza, restaurant and more. There is also plenty of parking by the soccer field for those who prefer to drive or stay dry incase it's raining. This house is accesible in a regular 2x4 car and 4x4 is NOT necessary. The house is just a 200 meter drive on a gravel road in good condition with very little gradient. Due to the artistic design of this house step free access is not possible.
