Bliss Bungalow at Flore

Peaceful, single-level living in Flore - a lovely Northamptonshire village. Silverstone, Althorp, Dodmoor, Fawsley are nearby, also Nene Way, Grand Union canal, Royal & Derngate Theatres. Bliss Bungalow was high-spec renovated in March-April 2023, interiors thoughtfully styled, bifold doors to conservatory. Gravel and grass areas outdoors. You'll have the whole house to yourselves - you may see someone gardening. Ideal for business, leisure, or visiting family. Long or short stay. The space In early 2023 we renovated Bliss Bungalow from its 1970s original, turning it into a modern, beautiful home. It has been fitted out for us, as a family. As such you've got a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen with air fryer, dualit kettle and toaster, nutribullet and induction hob. Dishwasher and integrated oven and microwave, along with a fridge-freezer. It's an ideal home away from home for longer stays, or a super comfortable place for a holiday enjoying local history, antiquing, the Nene Way and the Grand Union Canal. You may even catch some of the brilliant Flore Arts events or the famous Flower Festival. The living room has a gorgeous sofa with two snug leather armchairs, with doors openable into the large conservatory. At the book-nook end of the room we have a stunning vintage chair, just perfect for planning your time in Flore. The conservatory is east facing, so ideal for a morning breakfast or cuppa, and leads into the utility room and 'powder room' - the loo. As with the rest of the house, it's all been re-done in early 2023 with our own family use in mind. The garden has mature shrubs, and a pond. We are taking our time to restore it to glory, with a wildlife patch. There may be some gaps in the meantime. But it's a lovely private garden, fenced all around and about 30m long with a greenhouse, patio area (please be careful - it's uneven out there!), and a fabulous Bramley apple tree - help yourself to as many as you like if it's apple season when you're here! You will see lots of birds in the garden, and an occasional grazing bunny as we are not far from fields and public footpaths. Your main bathroom has a large shower, heated towel rail, washbasin and loo, with plenty of shelf space and a sensor-mirror with shaver socket. Your main bedroom has a king-size bed, with comfortable mattress, a vintage Lloyd loom bedroom chair, William Morris pomegranate wallpaper, a triple wardrobe, two bedside tables and lamps, along with a chest of drawers. The single bedroom has stunning hummingbird wallpaper, a comfortable bed, and a storage space. Of course, it also has a bedside table and lamp. We hope you enjoy your stay at Bliss Bungalow. Guest access You have the house to yourselves. You've got the sitting room, your king-size bed in your room, a family bathroom with shower, a separate loo, a kitchen diner, conservatory, large back garden, and a utility with washing machine, ironing board etc. You'll have your own Yale digital key, for ease of access, plus of course back up 'normal' keys! We have one room which you won't be able to access, which is for our parents. But when you're staying, you've got the whole place to yourselves. Other things to note We have security cameras operating outside the house - absolutely none inside. We don't keep any recordings, and we don't monitor any of them unless there's an issue, in which case they are there for reference.
