Five en-suite bedrooms, game room with pool table & 65" smart TV. Half-mile walk to the beach. Community boat ramp for kayaking, kiteboarding & fishing. Pet friendly (2 dogs, 80 lbs). The space The Hotter Otter was extensively remodeled in 2022–2023 with all-new LVP flooring on the 2nd and 3rd floors, new furniture and mattresses throughout, granite countertops, slate appliances, new ductwork, and fresh paint inside and out. The open-concept 3rd-floor kitchen, dining, and living area is the heart of the home — perfect for cooking big group meals and gathering together. The fully equipped kitchen includes a Keurig, Moccamaster drip coffee maker, blender, toaster/air fryer, crockpots, and everything you need for the whole crew. On the 1st floor, the game room with a pool table and 65" smart TV is a guest favorite. Head up to the 3rd-floor wrap-around deck for Pamlico Sound sunset views from the Adirondack chairs. Every bedroom has a Roku smart TV and dedicated towel hooks. The home also features a dedicated workspace/office, mega-capacity washer/dryer, outdoor shower, propane grill, wet bar, and parking for 8 cars/boats. Family-friendly extras include a high chair, moveable crib, and kids' place settings. A baby gate is permanently installed on the 3rd floor to keep little ones safely away from the stairs. The private pool is 16x26 and can be heated seasonally (April–October). The 6-person hot tub is available year-round. Guest access Home is equipped with a smart lock. Guest will receive a code two two hours prior to check-in. Other things to note We're here to make your OBX vacation stress-free and unforgettable! As longtime OBX visitors ourselves (10+ years), we're happy to share our favorite local spots — just ask. Watermen's Bar & Grill is a family favorite for lunch with a view of the kiteboarders. Don't miss Dough Shack for pizza and doughnuts, or Beads & Beans for morning coffee and cinnamon rolls. The pool is available seasonally (April–October) and can be heated for a fee. The hot tub is open year-round. The beach is a half-mile walk from the house. Pets are welcome — up to 2 dogs, 80 lbs max. Please note this is a 3-story home with stairs and no elevator — something to keep in mind for guests with mobility needs.
