Pebble cottage is a beautiful traditional fisherman's cottage recently restored for modern living. The cottage is in the heart of a picturesque, historic smugglers village adjacent to a conservation area and a stone throw away from two traditional country pubs which serve excellent food. The exquisite garden in front of the cottage has great views over the green rolling Devon hills and the Exe estuary. The space The cottage is equipped with all modern amenities, including dishwasher, washing machine, modern flat screen TV, hair dryer, underfloor heating and a fully equipped kitchen and is an excellent base for an enjoyable holiday all year round. It has a fire place with a wood burner and has kept all of its traditional charm. It has also a beautiful summer house with wifi. Be aware of the stairs, the cottage has 3 floors and it is on a steep hill. The cottage is just on the pedestrian part of the road but parking is available very close by on the same quiet road. Dawlish, Exeter and Dartmoor National Park are within walking, cycling and driving distance. Dawlish Warren beach and golf club is 5 minutes’ drive away. Haldon Forrest Park, excellent for a quiet stroll or an exhilarating mountain bike experience is only 8 miles away. Dartmoor National park with its stunning country lanes, open moorlands and deep river valleys is within reach of the serious cyclist. Starcross railway station is a mile away from where you can take the train along the stunning coastal railway line designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel to Torquay and Paignton or Exeter and Exmouth. Perfectly located to explore the stunning South Devon coast with its sandy beaches and glorious coastal paths.
