Relax with the whole family in this well equipped home, nestled among the tall pines in the beautiful Adirondacks. The home has 4 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, and sleeps up to 10. After a long day of activities in the nearby Lake Placid or Whiteface ski mountain, come home and snuggle in front of a fire, cook a large family dinner or just enjoy the wilderness and bright stars from the hot tub and sauna. A perfect escape for families and friends! The First Level contains the large living room with heated gas fireplace and a Smart TV, dining room with seating for 10 (additional folding chairs and high chair are available), large fully stocked kitchen including Air Fryer, Crock Pots, etc with a large island with seating for 3, a laundry room, a fully equipped half bathroom, and a bedroom with a queen bed. The Second Level contains three bedrooms, two bedrooms with King beds and Smart TVs (one has en-suite bathroom with large soaking tub and a stand alone shower), one family bedroom with a full bed, a twin bunk above, a twin trundle, a wood crib, and a pack & play, and a family bathroom with a shower/tub combo. We do not provide sheets/bedding for Pack&Play or Crib - please bring your own. The Lower Level (The Aprés Ski Club) contains a large open room with ping pong table, foosball table, a card table with seating for 6, a full size refrigerator/freezer, a lovely seating area (including a futon), with an heated electric fireplace, a Xbox gaming system, Sonos speakers, old school DVDs, and a Smart TV. The Garage is located on the first floor and is fully heated. An area for jackets, hats, mittens with two large benches, boot trays, a shoe/mitten rack, and an electric Boot warmer/dryer. Also a ski/snowboard rack with space for 8 skis or 4 snowboards. The Outdoor Patio area has adirondack chairs, a bench, a 6-person hot tub, and a barrel sauna with a glass door to watch the snow falling ❄️ Also farther from the house, there is a firepit with two large log benches. Guests will have access to the entire property including private use of the patio, hot tub, and sauna. There are two small closets in the lower level that house the utilities, these spaces are locked and guests will not have access to those closets. There is also a closet upstairs that is locked and guests will not have access. I am available all the time if you have questions or in case of emergencies. Enjoy lots of hiking/biking trails right outside your door including Clark Mountain. Also, take a stroll around beautiful Lake Eaton (also located within Ausable Acres) and take-in the natural beauty and wildlife including deer, beaver, chipmunks, and water fowl. The home is a 10 mile (about 15 min) drive to Whiteface Mountain and a 20 mile (about 25 min) drive to Lake Placid. This lodge is located in a rural area and you will need a car. In the winter, 4x drive is highly recommended. DOGS and CATS are welcome with host approval. IMPORTANT NOTE: we LOVE to welcome responsible owners, but please show good judgment - pick up after your pets, don't leave your pets alone for extended periods of time, during check-out clean up pet hair/mess, and if damage occurs notify us right away. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED on or inside the premises. If we find evidence of smoking of any kind (cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, or any other type), we will immediately notify you and file a claim with Airbnb. We have a family member who is allergic to smoke so please respect our home.
