On the outskirts of Eggstätt lies the newly designed, lovingly furnished apartment "Blick ins Blaue" in the middle of the Eggstätt lake district near Chiemsee. The attic apartment with open wooden beam construction invites you to relax. The centerpiece, the whitewashed fireplace with stove bench, the bright bathroom, kitchen equipment, dining area, cozy corner sofa and box spring bed offer stylish feel-good space. Covered south and west balconies overlooking mountains and Bavarian sky. The space You come up a staircase to the 2nd floor. To the right of the entrance door is a workplace, illuminated by the large window door to the west balcony. Partly under the sloping roof is a box spring bed (180 × 200) with bedside lamps. A movable wooden screen can shield views and daylight if necessary. On the left side of the apartment is a sliding door wardrobe (180 wide) with plenty of hangers. In front of it is the cozy couch (pull-out) with TV on a sideboard where you can find dishes, cutlery, napkins, etc. Next to it is the dining table with four chairs in front of the window door to the south balcony. On both balconies there is a table with two chairs, so that you can dine outdoors or end the day with a drink by candlelight. In the middle of the room is the fireplace (which may no longer be heated) with a surrounding stove bench. The bright kitchen is accessed on the left and continues through the door into the stylish bathroom with high-quality sink, toilet and rain shower (with shampoo and shower gel dispenser), daylight bright through the large sloping skylight. Through shutters you can darken the apartment or prevent excessive sunlight. Guest access After parking your car in the parking space (3rd from the right, 2nd from the left), walk 10 meters along the hedge, through the always open garden door to the front door. The apartment on the 2nd floor is reached via a staircase, which is also used by the owners of the apartment on the 1st floor. There is a basement room available to store any luggage or your bikes. The basement key is located in the apartment. Other things to note From Eggstätt you can reach Munich in just over an hour, and the Mozart city of Salzburg is only 60 km away. If you prefer to stay in the region, you will find well-stocked retail and crafts in Traunstein, Wasserburg (highly recommended) or Rosenheim, in addition to historical sights and cultural events. A trip to the Chiemsee Islands with a visit to Herrenchiemsee Castle and Frauenwörth Monastery is almost a must! You can breathe in the mountain air on numerous alpine pastures and huts of our local mountains. Especially the Kampenwand rewards the ascent with a sensational view over the foothills of the Alps and the Chiemgau Lakes. If the ascent to the 1664-meter-high summit is too tedious, take the Kampenwand cable car from Aschau as a convenient alternative.
