This large house with its 9-foot high ceilings is the perfect place to rest with family or friends. Relax in the hot tub and then admire the picture-postcard sunsets around a fire at the top of the cliff while admiring the passage of ships right before your eyes. The space This house, built in 1895, has been the home of several families of sailors over time. It's one of the most elegant in the village! It is very well equipped and does not show its age. It has a fast 120 Mbps WiFi internet connection with excellent coverage throughout the property. The full kitchen offers marble countertops. The living room is equipped with a large 55” Roku smart TV (no traditional cable). You can easily access your favourite content through installed apps (ICI Toutv, TVA+, Noovo, etc.) and your own subscriptions such as Netflix, Prime or Disney. A retro Nintendo console with 600 games, a Blu-Ray player and a collection of films are also at your disposal. The bathroom has a shower-bath and a washer-dryer. A games room is set up with foosball tables and air hockey. The Proue bedroom on the ground floor is furnished with a large bed. Upstairs, the Tribord bedroom offers a second double bed, the Accalmie bedroom a double bed and the Babord bedroom two single beds. A panoramic lounge with a large window offers you an exceptional view of the river all year round. There is a desk space for remote working with a monitor for your laptop. A small bathroom is available upstairs and an 18,000 BTU air conditioning unit effectively cools the rooms in summer. Outside, a large patio with a six-seater dining set and a gas barbecue are at your disposal. A rustic-looking garage has been converted to house the 5-seater spa, sheltered from the weather. Several outdoor games available for your children are stored there. The 24,000-square-foot long playground is equipped with a pirate ship play module with a water cannon to entertain your children. A hammock is set up in the shade under the large apple tree. A fire pit is set up at the end of the land with Adirondack chairs to admire the sunsets, the many water birds and the passage of ships on the river. Guest access You have access to the whole property except the basement, attic, maintenance closet, shed and the cliff that descends steeply to the river. Other things to note This house is located in a residential neighborhood with immediate neighbors. It is a peaceful and welcoming neighborhood that is perfect for families with children. However, the place will not be suitable for groups of friends looking for a secluded place to party and liven up throughout the night. Some outdoor amenities may be inaccessible during winter time. Early check in or late check out is available when you can offer it. A surcharge of $50 CDN will be payable for either for up to 2 hours.
