The space This house, built in 1895, has been home to several families of sailors over time. It's one of the most elegant in the village! It is very well-equipped and does not look its age. It is equipped with a fast 120 Mbps internet connection offered via Wi-Fi with excellent coverage throughout the property. The full kitchen features marble countertops. The living room is equipped with a large 55" Roku smart TV (without traditional cable). You can easily access your favorite content through installed apps (ICI Toutv, TVA+, Noovo, etc.) and your own subscriptions like Netflix, Prime, or Disney. A retro Nintendo console with 600 games, Blu-Ray player and a collection of movies are also available. The bathroom has a bath-shower and a washer-dryer. A game room is equipped with foosball and air hockey tables. The Proue bedroom on the ground floor is furnished with a double bed. Upstairs, the Starboard room offers a second large bed, the Lull room a double bed and the Port room two single beds. A panoramic living room with a large window offers exceptional views of the river year-round. An office area is set up for remote working with a monitor for your laptop. A small bathroom is available upstairs and an 18,000 BTU air conditioning unit efficiently cools the rooms in summer. Outside, a large patio with a six-seat dining set and gas BBQ are at your disposal. A rustic-looking garage has been fitted out to accommodate the 5-seater hot tub, sheltered from the elements. Several outdoor games available for your children are stored there. The 24,000-square-foot long lot is equipped with a pirate ship playground with a water cannon to entertain your children. A hammock is installed in the shade under the large apple tree. A fire pit is set up at the end of the property with Adirondack chairs to admire the sunsets, the many waterfowl and the passage of ships on the river. Guest access You have access to the whole property except the basement, attic, maintenance closet, shed and the cliff that descends steeply to the river. Other things to note This house is located in a quiet residential area, with neighbors nearby. It is particularly suitable for families with children and travelers looking for rest, the outdoors and peaceful evenings. It is not suitable for stays where excessive alcohol consumption, noise or evening entertainment could harm the neighborhood. Respect for the calm and atmosphere of the area is essential at all times. On-site parking is limited and designed for passenger vehicles only. The site is not suitable for large, commercial or professional vehicles. Some outdoor amenities may be inaccessible during winter time. Early check in or late check out is available when you can offer it. A surcharge of $50 CDN will be payable for either for up to 2 hours. The TV does not include cable or wireless channels.
