Gasteria Cottage

Gasteria cottage is named after a succulent plant that occurs in South Africa. Our garden has been lovingly rehabilitated to encourage back the natural vegetation of our area and many of the plants are endemic. An ongoing process. If you are a plant enthusiast, then this is the home for you. Relax in this quiet, peaceful space and enjoy the unique indigenous garden. Perfect base to explore the surrounding coastline and pursue outdoor activities, as well as great bird watching. The space The house is set in a fully enclosed, private, sunny garden. The rooms are comfortable and light with garden views. The kitchen, lounge and dining area are open plan and spacious. Lovely verandah with covered barbeque area and a garage to park a vehicle. The garden and parking area is fully enclosed and safe for pets and vehicles. Guest access The guests will be able to access the entire house and garden area. The guests have a private entrance. Other things to note We do not have lawn, but a large, paved area. The house is surrounded by walkways and flower beds with certain areas under Fynbos rehabilitation.
