Burgundian house

Our house is nestled in a green setting, in the back coast of Pommard, 15 minutes from Beaune. Located in a quiet hamlet between vineyards, woods and horse pastures, it is ideal for relaxing and taking beautiful walks. Exceptional place for families. The city of Beaune, its hospices and collegiate church await you, as well as the winemakers of the coast, who will let you taste their best wines. The nearby valleys of Auxois and Ouche will also delight you The space This house is our family home, rented occasionally. It has been restored while preserving its Burgundian character: cellars, slabs, fireplaces, exposed beams. The entrance to the house is through the main room which is large, with a fully equipped kitchen area, a living room around a large Burgundian fireplace, and a long farmhouse table. This room opens onto a shaded inner courtyard. A small living room with insert adjoins this room, quieter for reading or chatting. This level is completed by a bedroom with 2 beds of 90 cm that can be converted into 1 king size bed, an old-fashioned bathroom and a toilet. Upstairs, there are 2 large bedrooms, one with a 160 cm bed with bathroom, a "dormitory" with 5 single beds and a laundry room with a washing machine. A large and charming garden completes the house. It is not adjoining but not far away and the configuration of the hamlet means that we are the only ones to enjoy the space between the house and the garden. Please note, the garden is bordered by a stream. Our children's books, games and toys are left available with confidence. Sheets and towels are provided. Cleaning is included in the price.
