Guest access Vassieux is located at an altitude of 1100 m, at the end of the Vercors plateau. The climate can be harsh in winter, be ready to face snowy roads, have good tires, chains or tire socks (it's great, I really recommend it), think about your gloves and hats. Throughout the year the wind blows frequently, so that combined with the altitude, it helps us to withstand the heat, but sometimes it lowers the temperature a little too much, which is why you should always have a light sweater nearby! Other things to note The Ranch is the ideal place for organizing a themed stay, with family or friends, in winter around the world of trappers (sled dogs, snowshoes, skiing) and the rest of the year, around western (horse, hiking, canoeing) or nature (mountain biking, walks, picking mushrooms or dandelions, tasting Clairette de Die or Vercors blue cheese)...
