Madison sits along the banks of the mighty Ohio River surrounded by beautiful Cliffy Falls State Park and retains the distinction of the largest contiguous National Historic Landmark District in the U.S. Madison hosts many festivals throughout the year such as Riverfolk Festival, Madison Regatta, Jefferson County 4H Fair, Ribberfest, Soup Stew Chili and Brew, and one of the biggest art festivals in the United States with the Madison Chautauqua. Madison also provides access to many unique variety stores and local owned restaurants. It’s picturesque setting is worth the visit.
