Welcome to the Cinematic Hideaway Retreat by Residential Retreats! We’re so excited to host you in this cozy downstairs space designed for comfort and relaxation. Here, you’ll find a home theater setup, reclining seats with built-in USB chargers, and a clean, inviting atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a busy day or enjoying a getaway. PLEASE NOTE- we live upstairs, so you may hear some footsteps from time to time. We truly appreciate your understanding as we share our home with you. The space This retreat has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay: • Theater Experience: Large projector screen with streaming access (use your own logins), recliner seating with built-in USB ports. • Sleeping Arrangements: One bedroom with two full-size beds, plus an air mattress available upon request. • Full Bathroom: Includes a tub, sink, and toilet with a supply of towels for your stay. • Kitchenette: Fully stocked with essentials, including a microwave, two-burner cooktop, mini-fridge, coffee pot, ice maker, and water dispenser. • Climate Control: Personal AC/heat unit in the space for your comfort. • Private Entrance: Secure, separate entrance for guest privacy. • Neighborhood: Quiet, friendly, and conveniently close to the highway, shopping, and dining. • Laundry Service: Not available on-site Guest access Please read before booking!! This is a basement unit which means we live upstairs in the main home. The entire space on the downstairs level is for guest use. Check-in begins at 3 PM, and check-out is by 10 AM. If you’d like a late check-out, just let us know ahead of time. • Entry is through the garage on the side of the house, which opens with a keypad. For everyone’s safety and comfort, please keep the garage door closed at all times after entering and exiting. • From inside: press the large grey button on the right side of the garage to close the door. • From outside: simply use your key code again to close it after you walk out. • The door to the unit itself has an automatic lock and will secure itself once closed. Please keep this door shut to prevent outside humidity from entering and damaging the AC. • The AC unit is located above the kitchen wall and can be controlled with the white remote. Please keep track of all remotes during your stay and leave them in a visible place before checkout. • Shoes: We prefer that shoes be left in the garage before entering the unit. If you do bring them inside, please avoid wearing them on carpeted areas. • Food & Drinks: While the retreat is set up for a “theater experience,” we ask that you be extra careful with food and drinks on the carpet and recliners to keep the space fresh and enjoyable for future guests. • Garage Use: This is our family home, and on rare occasions we may need to access the garage to charge our smart car or retrieve items. We will NEVER enter your private living space during your stay and will not disrupt you. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. • Guest Policy: All guests staying in or visiting the unit must be disclosed to the host. The number of overnight guests must match the number of people included in your booking. • Parking is available in the driveway; we’ll provide details before your arrival. • High-speed Wi-Fi is included. Streaming services are available on the projector—just log in with your own accounts, and please remember to log out before checkout. Other things to note No Smoking, Vaping, Marijuana, or Candles: For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property—inside or outside. Violations will result in additional cleaning fees. • The downstairs bathroom runs on a sensitive pump system, so please do not flush anything other than bodily waste. Please only use the toilet paper provided. Do not flush any wipes, sanitary napkins, or other feminine products. A trash bin is provided for all other products. • Please avoid pouring oil or food down the sink to prevent plumbing issues. • The projector is carefully calibrated—please enjoy it as set up, and avoid moving it. • Recliners have built-in USB ports for charging devices—no need to adjust the cables. • Before checkout, kindly remove trash to the outdoor bins and send us a quick message once you’ve departed.
