Originally constructed from native Kauri in circa 1830, the Wharf House has a colourful history including operating as Rawene's first hospital in 1909. The Wharf House has been thoughtfully restored and commands a prime waterfront position in town - walking distance to everything. House can accommodate 4 see separate listing Wharf House - Room 3 The space The room located upstairs at the front of the Wharf House, features sweeping views of the Hokianga harbour where you can watch the morning mist rise from The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption at Motukaraka or marvel at striking sunsets and reflections over the water. Catering for up to 2-guests, the room has a Queen bed, private ensuite bathroom with shower over bath, wardrobe, coffee table, and chairs. If you are travelling as a couple or family, see separate listing to book a second Queen bedroom - Wharf House - Room 3. Guest access You are welcome to use the TV room downstairs or sit outside in the garden. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the main kitchen. Off street parking is available. The Wharf House is conveniently located on the doorstep of the Hokianga Vehicle Ferry, Rawene Service Station, Rawene Foodmart, No. 1 Parnell Art Gallery and Cafe, The Boatshed Cafe, Destin8ion gift store, Simply Fun puzzle shop, Hokianga Takeaways, Clendon House, the Rawene Library, Wardy's fruit shop, Rawene Pharmacy, Oh Studio, and The Station shop. A $2-coin operated laundromat is located next door.
