Other things to note The suite uses central heating and air-conditioning shared with the rest of the house, so temperatures are kept at a standard comfort level but can’t be adjusted individually for the basement. I live upstairs with my two kids, ages 8 and 10. You may occasionally hear footsteps or noise when they’re home. If you’re extremely sensitive to sound, this might not be the right fit.
