The DAME de FLAUX

A stone's throw from the Place aux Herbes, La DAME de FLAUX is an air-conditioned Loft nestled in the inner courtyard of one of the beautiful private mansions of Uzès, in the heart of the historic city. Pass through its door, you leave the bustle of the cobbled streets and enter the courtyard of the Hôtel de Flaux. Its 2 wings frame a double staircase that leads to the hanging garden of the Tour du Roi. This is the refuge that La DAME de FLAUX invites you to share authentic, calm and unexpected. The space The DAME de FLAUX is a beautiful vaulted space of 44 square meters, all in travertine stone, respectfully preserved since its construction. Gently air-conditioned, this place has an original energy that we have tried to preserve through its equipment and decoration. A skillful work of interior architecture has transformed it into an elegant Loft, in which all comforts are available. The living room is equipped with large armchairs, perfect for reading, an aperitif or a television session. The dining area with soft chairs is right next to the fully equipped kitchen. The other part of this Loft accommodates the more intimate space, with the bedroom and its Queen Size bed from the Simmons brand. Two layers of pillows to serve you, cotton sheets in winter and linen in summer, extra pillows and blanket, plaid ... A little apart you find the bathroom with a walk-in shower, travertine basin and slippers and bathrobes available. Next to this bathroom the independent toilet. As you can read in the detail of the equipment, there is everything you need to meet your needs and make you feel at home. Welcome !! Guest access Travelers have access to the entire accommodation. The hanging garden is not usable, but you can enjoy the courtyard and its stone benches, to come and smoke a cigarette, drink a coffee, read a swashbuckling novel, as long as you respect the tranquility of the local residents. Other things to note We leave for travelers some coffees, teas, herbal teas, and the classics sugar, salt, pepper, spices, oil, vinegar, ... We are happy to share with you some basic foods that have remained in the cupboards and which could satisfy travelers who arrive late. If you empty the cupboards, help us fill them ;-)
