Unless you arrive during daylight hours, it can be a challenge to find a street spot, even though there are 200+ such spots in the vicinity. It's first-come, first-served. If you're going to drive every day, I'd recommend that you find another accommodation. The good news is that the permit is good for 72 hours before you need to move your car and park elsewhere for another 72.
