Experience the unique experience of staying in the birthplace of Abbé Prévost, classified as a Historic Monument. The first owners to open the house of the author of "Manon Lescaut" to the public, Franck and Pauline make this house a place of life and cultural and artistic sharing that is for everyone. The space The house is composed of 3 buildings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The birthplace of Abbé Prévost (35 m²), renamed "Manon's room" awaits you, quiet, with its painted ceilings and refurbished bathroom. You will discover in your room the office of Victor Segalen, Pauline's great-grandfather, a French poet of the early 20th century, whose work has been published in the Pléiade since 2020. Guest access Spend some time in the living room-library with period woodwork, where you expect to see the author of the famous novel Manon Lescaut enter, have breakfast or tea in the courtyard in front of the 17th century facade or on the terrace with stunning views of the Canche and the church. During your stay The hosts, Franck and Pauline Joly-Groux live on site and will welcome you upon arrival, serve you breakfast and can advise you on their favorite places. A storyteller, Pauline will comment on the visit to the House if you wish, telling you about the incredible life of the author of Manon Lescaut, and this love story that caused a scandal in the 18th century. Franck, a ceramist, will gladly show you around his workshop and explain his favorite technique: Raku cooking.
