A yurt-cabin is an all season yurt style that is hard sided and insulated, heated with a wood stove and propane heater. So, get away from it all when you stay under the stars by the Popo Agie River in an off grid “glamping” yurt-cabin, right next to the Popo Agie River on 3 1/2 acres. We are frequented by an abundance of wildlife and welcomed by our two friendly llamas, Trip and Journey. Only two miles to town and 6 miles to Sinks Canyon State Park. The Cabin yurt is tucked away on the far side of the pasture next to the Popo Agie River. There is a composting outhouse and a heated outdoor shower (shower not available in winter) You are welcome to roam around the grounds of Grass River Retreat. Owners live in big cabin and the small cabin is on Airbnb too. We are located 2 miles outside of Lander. There is a Yeti charging station for charging up your electronics. We do not have WiFi or running water in the winter. Water is in a container in the Yurt for drinking. A composting toilet is outside the Yurt. A heated outdoor shower will be available seasonally, during non freezing temperatures.
