Room in a private home. Use of shared bathroom and outside space. It's small, simple, cozy. Fenced off-street gated parking on a culdesac, 1 bike available. Room has own lockable sliding door entrance from rear. Fenced yard & lockable interior door. Private and quiet except at times for sweet Clyde the ancient runner duck Old Mauser the deaf ninja cat is silent however. Welcome to use the hammocks & furniture of back yard. Kitchen not available - Reconstruction. High speed cable WiFi. The space You are surrounded by tall cedars and ponderosas. Dual pane window & sliding door, small fridge, microwave, coffee toaster oven in room. Desk & chair; outside shared patio, hammocks, picnic table and chairs. Large fenced back yard shared with home owner. Walking: 8 mins walk Wild Eye Pub 10 minutes residential streets to Nevada County Fairgrounds gate 8. 2 mins from Condon Park gates, skate park and disk golf Drive: 3 mins of hwy 20/49 freeway 5 mins from downtown Grass Valley Safeway, Mill St Etc. Guest access Your room has separate access and lockable sliding door. If needed the lockbox code is 1849. The bathroom, shower and toilet are shared when family is home- First door on left in hall The friendly old house car Mauzer can be kept away from your part of the residence if you like, or he can join you. Very sociable creature normally kept out of guest quarters in case you are allergic.. During your stay We have lived in the area over 30 years each and have plenty of info we love to share on hikes, attractions, history and must-sees. I (Paule) work from home as an Internet Engineer always happy to take a break & share info if needed. We use AirBNB Messenger Sachiko is co-host at property Other things to note Main house kitchen is being rebuilt so unsuitable for shared use. Grass Valley and Nevada City get very green at the usual times with many ceders and ponderosa pines especially just for those with allergies!
