Jack's House

Welcome to Jack's House, a lovely annex situated right in the middle of the beautiful seaside village of Porthtowan. 5 minute flat walk to Porthtowan's 'Blue Flag' beach, surf spot and the beautiful SW Coast Path. Jack's house is attached to our home but has its own off road parking and private entrance. With excellent access to the A30, we are perfectly located for exploring the South West of Cornwall. The village has everything you need, so no need to drive once you have arrived. The space The sitting area has a comfortable sofa, small dining table with stools, fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle to meet your basic needs whilst on holiday. Please note there is not a cooker or hob. There is a space to hang your coats and place your shoes, before relaxing after your day at the beach. There is a TV which works via the WiFi. Please let us know if it has disconnected itself. You can use your own logins to access streaming services. The bedroom area has a double bed, with side tables and lamps. There are plugs for charging your phones. The door leading off the bedroom area leads to a shower room, with towel rail, toilet and sink. Towels are provided. There is a connecting door to our property, but this is locked on both sides during your stay. Please use the sink for water and washing up. Please take care when using the toilet and do not flush anything except toilet paper. We ask guest to provide their own beach towels. Regrettable there is no disabled access to the property. The beach and coast path is a flat 5 minute walk into the village. Guest access Guests will be able to access Jack's House through their own private entrance. They will have the entire space. We completely respect the privacy of our guests. Other things to note We live on site but respect the privacy of our guests. Jack's House is attached to our property so you may sometimes hear us entering or leaving our home. We are a holiday destination and parking can be an issue at times. Our parking space is not designated but 99% of the time is deemed as ours. We unfortunately cannot stop visitors to the village parking there. So far this has not been a problem but just for your information. If you arrive and cannot park. Please find somewhere else, check in and message me on the number provided in the accommodation so I can assist. We do have a cat, Nala who is mainly a house cat. She is not allowed into your property, which she knows, but if she’s in the garden she may well hop on to the windowsill to say a cheeky hello.
