Sit on the porch and enjoy your remote cabin getaway with plenty of solitude on thirteen acres of spacious, wooded, serenity. The birds are chirping and wildlife is in the woods. My cabin is a one-of-a-kind experience to share with close friends and family. The cabin is an A-framed loft style dwelling made from pine milled saddle-notch logs. There is plenty of outdoor space which includes front and covered side porches, pasture, a fire pit and hammock for relaxation that you'll be sure to enjoy! The space The cabin life is the way of life! Whether you are traveling and looking for a unique remote experience or want a quaint vacation spot that is new, exciting and away from the routine hustle-and-bustle of urban America, The Cabin in the Woods is the way to do it! Modern and updated, there is a DirecTV subscription and Hughes Net satellite internet to stay plugged in... or, go ahead, turn off the devices and enjoy the company of those you closely surround yourself by. The choice is yours! Just an hour and a half south from the District of Columbia, located immediatley between Fredericksburg and Culpeper, Virginia. From start to finish, the cabin is outfitted with most things you will need. Cook a warm hot meal in the spacious kitchen (most culinary utility necessities provided) with breakfast bar seating for four. Hammered copper farm sink. Spacious open floor plan with kitchen table for six. Outdoor grill - propane provided. Large master suite on the first floor. King size bed, spacious shower and copper sink with long granite counter tops through the sliding wooden barn door. Upstairs has two bedrooms which are fitted with cozy queen beds and full bath with tub, 'beachy' style tile and spacious loft seating area which overlooks the house, deck and outdoors. There is a separate laundry room space attached to the garage (adjacent to kitchen door) with washer, dryer and deep sink in case guests need laundry, etc. Tide Pods provided for laundry and dishwasher pods provided for dishwasher. There is a fire pit for roasting marsh mallows and enjoying the quiet evening. 25+ years of age or older. Pets on a case by case 🐶 Please let me know in advance. The pet must be strictly housebroken. We look forward to hosting your stay! Guest access There is plenty of parking and no pesky neighbors in sight! The Cabin in the Woods is located off a gravel road and normal GPS takes you just before the location. The cabin has a wheel chair ramp to the right of the garage and is wheel chair accessible for those needing the amenity :) Other things to note If you want to get out and walk the "neighborhood" you have great walking space and can even hike to the Rappahannock River on foot. Pretty views and fun fishing. Ask for directions ;) Jimmy's Stop and Shop is the nearest 'convenience store' close by (15 minute drive) which is a nice 'mom and pop' country store. They will even deliver groceries or have them ready for pick up beforehand, in advance of your stay (ask if interested in this amenity. I am happy to help coordinate). I want to reiterate that there is a wheel chair ramp and the cabin is wheel chair accessible. For those that need the amenity, access is easy. This is a fun place!
