Modern guesthouse-Willow Glen/SJ

We designed and built this guesthouse to maximize space and light. This house features high ceilings, skylights, high-end finishes (Spanish porcelain throughout), an efficient kitchen and a luxurious bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, multicolor lights, and a Toto toilet with a bidet remote (optional use). Located in peaceful Willow Glen, you are a 10 min walk to downtown (Lincoln Ave) and a 5 min drive to downtown San Jose! You can also get up to San Francisco via Caltrain (station is 5 mins away). The space Our wifi is 305 mbps with a workspace equipped with an adjustable desk and ergonomic chair, docking station, monitor, and webcam for meetings. The downstairs includes a sofa, and ottoman that opens up and can be used as a dining surface (we have dining trays). The TV and soundsystem are Samsung and all streaming apps are available along with Samsung channels. The kitchen includes a Keurig machine, dishwasher, high-efficiency sink with space for a cutting board. The electric range/oven features an Airfry setting. The bathroom, laundry room, and bedroom are upstairs. Guests can store clothes in the drawers under the king bed and in the closet. The bed has several pillow options for all sleepers. The only issue (noted in the Arrival guide) is that a guest broke the showerhead off the tub. The tub is still functional but the showerhead setting should not be used to avoid water leaks. The laundry unit is an LG ThinQ washer/dryer. Guest access This is a private unit in the backyard of a main house. Guests will enter from the gate to the left of the main house. There is a walkway to the house in the back and entry will be via a smart lock. The front door to the unit is facing the back of the property so there is complete privacy. Other things to note We have a dachshund and a rescued cat. They mostly use the front yard. Cat is scared of big dogs and will probably run away but he’s friendly with people that he knows and timid with most strangers. He has been friendly with some guests, but if you are not experienced with cats, please give him space. Contact us with any questions!
