Built in 2007, this home will be yours to use as a homebase for downtime or as you explore the many sights, eateries, and shopping of Geneva and the surrounding area. The Creekside Cabin combines the cozy log cabin experience with quick access to all of the dining and entertainment establishments the Fox Valley and greater Chicagoland have to offer. Here you are situated close to all of the main roads to get around Geneva and the western suburbs. Take the Metra line for a trip to the city or stroll along the many bike paths. The home is tucked away in the woods in a quiet residential neighborhood with a private driveway for up to 3 cars. There is a large, covered porch, private rear deck, and outdoor space with a fire pit. Inside you will find yourself surrounded by Northwoods decor with plenty of room to relax. The first floor features a great room with dining for up to 6, a breakfast bar for 3, and a fully equipped, open kitchen. The main floor has 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom with a tub. One room has a queen bed and the other has a full. Upstairs your will find the master suite with a king-sized bed, shower, and walk-in closet. We also have accommodations for newborns. The walk-in closet doubles as a small anteroom with a crib. Additionally, there is a laundry room with an ironing station in the basement. The space accommodates 5-6 guests comfortably and features central heating and air conditioning, a whole home humidifier, ceiling fans throughout, and on demand hot water. For your entertainment, there is free WIFI, a TV in the great room with Direct TV, access to Netflix and Disney Plus. The master has a smart TV. Ideal for spending the holidays, as a weekend getaway, a home base for weddings, reunions, birthdays, graduations, or other milestone events. Please respect that only registered guests may spend the night at the cabin and that it is not intended to be the prime location for parties, or gatherings over 9 persons. Approximately one day prior to your arrival we will reach out with access information. Check out is at 11am on your departure day. The private driveway has room for 3 cars and there is additional free parking along the street in front of the home. As your hosts, know that we live nearby so we are available at a minute's notice to provide assistance. The property is bookended by two city parks. Epsing Park features a modern play structure, jogging path, baseball diamond, and lots of open space. Sandholm Woods features paths for strolling. The Fox River's famous Island Park is a popular backdrop for event photography. Downtown Geneva is a mile away and filled with endless dining, boutique shopping and seasonal events.
