This is an apartment tower located in the center of Curridabat, very close to San Pedro and San José. Because of the way this specific apartment is designed it is ideal for short or long stays, whether you are traveling for work or pleasure. The kitchen is made of granite and it has everything you require for cooking your own meals (oh, and we include coffee). We have 2 full body mirrors and the mirror in the bathroom surrounded by LED-lights. This specific apartment also boasts of plenty of space for your clothes, it's storage is unmatched to any other 32sqm option you see, it also has a 40 inch TV (we include HBO Max, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Apple TV), we have air conditioning and wifi. It is as good as it can get. You will be able to access each amenity, although some require advance reservation. However, the gym and pool are always available for use, within the established hours. For your safety and peace of mind, we also have a 24-hour check-in system with our friendly security staff. They will greet you and assist you every time you enter the building. Mercado Natural de Curri: A farmers market with organic products, crafts and local delicacies. You can taste the fresh fruits and vegetables, buy some souvenirs or try the ginger beer. Hospital Clínica Bíblica: A hospital that offers high-quality medical care and services. You can access emergency care, consultations, exams, surgeries or pharmacy. You can also benefit from their health insurance plans and their international accreditation. Curridabat is also very close to San José, the capital city of Costa Rica. You can easily reach it by bus or car and visit its many attractions, such as museums, parks, historical buildings and cultural events. It is very safe to walk around, you will be 3 minutes away from Auto-Mercado which is the best supermarket in Costa Rica, Ubers are always available as well. You will have 1 parking spot with specific dimensions (not available for motorcycles) Car Max Dimensions = Long 2.15 meters / Wide 5.25 meters / High 2.05 meters (Most likely if its a Pick-Up, will be bigger than those dimensions) You can park these vehicles (bigger than required dimensions and motorcycles) in the street but guards will not ensure its safety, we recommend you do not leave any valuables in sight. Curridabat is a city that is easy to navigate and explore. You have several options to get around, depending on your preferences, budget and destination. Here are some of the most common ways to travel in and around Curridabat: Train: The train is a fast and cheap way to get to San José and other nearby cities. You can take the train from the Curridabat station, which is located on the Inter-American Highway. The train runs every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes during off-peak hours. The fare is 420 colones (about 0.7 USD) for one way. Taxi: The taxi is a convenient and comfortable way to get to any place in Curridabat or beyond. You can find taxis on the streets or call them by phone or app. The taxis are metered and the fare depends on the distance and traffic. The average fare for a short ride within Curridabat is about 2,000 colones (about 3.3 USD). Bus: The bus is another cheap and reliable way to get to San José and other destinations in Costa Rica. You can take the bus from various stops along the main roads in Curridabat. The buses run frequently and have different routes and schedules. The fare is usually between 300 and 600 colones (about 0.5 and 1 USD) for one way. Uber: Uber the most popular and convenient alternative to taxis in Curridabat (we actually do not recommend taxis). You can request an Uber driver through your smartphone app and pay with your credit card or cash. The Uber fares are usually lower than taxis and depend on the demand and supply of drivers. The average fare for a short ride within Curridabat is about 1,500 colones (about 2.5 USD). Car: If you have your own car or rent one, you can drive around Curridabat and enjoy the freedom and flexibility of exploring at your own pace. However, you should be aware of the traffic conditions, road signs and parking rules in Curridabat and Costa Rica. You should also have a valid driver’s license, insurance and registration documents.
