Just 30 minutes from Hobart, it’s only two minutes from the dreamy seaside village of Kettering and the Bruny Island Ferry. This cosy country-style cottage, crowned by the original clock tower, offers an unforgettable stay whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway or a tranquil retreat for small families or groups. The living area beckons with two inviting double lounges, a crackling slow-combustion fireplace, and a flat-screen Smart TV, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment. You’ll see and enjoy the vineyard scenery on the property, which adds to the charm of the surroundings. Please note, however, that it is not a working vineyard, it is there purely to enhance the ambiance of the property surroundings. Cook up delightful meals in the open-plan kitchen, fully equipped with timber benchtops and all the essentials. Dine in the intimate setting of the rounded dining table, with seating for four, or take your meals outside to the patio, where two charming seats await under the sky, offering a serene spot for morning coffee or evening wine. Rest easy in the primary bedroom, featuring a plush queen bed, or in the second bedroom, furnished with two cosy single beds. The modern bathroom ensures your stay is as comfortable as it is memorable. Additional features include ample off-street parking. During summer, there are Tiger snakes about so please wear closed shoes when walking about the property. We have several beehives and a small duck pond which is not enclosed, and a creek which borders the property, and guests with children should not allow them to wander about the property unaccompanied. Guest access During your stay, you and your group will have the entire house to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home! Other things to note Please read and respect the house rules.
