The Ruedemann Suite is situated off of our main house in a quiet neighborhood. We are located 3 miles from Misquamicut Beach & Watch Hill. Historic Downtown Westerly with its thriving restaurant, arts & music scene is 1.5 miles from the house. Take a short drive to Stonington or Mystic for shopping or local vineyards. Feeling lucky? Mohegan Sun & Foxwoods Casinos are close by! Newport & Providence are a 45-minute drive. Follow on the gram @ruedemannsuite The Ruedemann Suite is a comfy in-law suite located off of the main house - it has a private entrance and off-street parking. The unit is bright and airy featuring a queen-sized bed, a sitting area, and a dining table that can double as a workspace - with advance notice we will provide a desk chair! There is a Fire TV that features local cable channels with the ability for you to use your own streaming services. The kitchenette area is equipped with a Keurig coffee maker, coffee pods, microwave, refrigerator, and paper goods to use while you visit. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, amenities, and towels. Heat is provided from the main house as well as a separate heating unit that you have control of to make it as warm as you like! During the warmer months, there is a ceiling fan and wall unit AC to cool you down. Off the entrance is a small deck with a table for two to sit and enjoy your morning coffee while watching the birds. A larger shared patio and fire pit area is complete with a dining table and Weber gas grill. For your beach-going adventures, we provide beach chairs and towels! In addition to the private unit, you will have access to the backyard, patio with gas grill, and fire pit area. Quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street. Great location - close to downtown and beaches. When entering our driveway stay to the left-hand side and pull in next to the garage. The entrance to the Ruedemann Suite is located at the end of the driveway at the back of the house. There are a few coffee shops located about a mile away - a 10/15 min walk otherwise a car is the best way to get around town. There is a local cab service, Wrights Taxi, 401-596-TAXI and during the summer months, Uber is available. Our names are Mike and Karin, we live in the main house and are available for anything you may need but also respect your privacy!
