My cottage is a stone’s throw from Lewes Castle and all High Street shops and restaurants but it is tucked away in a tiny lane with no traffic. Inside the house you find yourself in a perfectly quiet retreat. Lewes station and the Depot cinema are five minutes walk. Come for Glyndebourne, or Bonfire and you won’t be disappointed! The space This is an idyllic little house set behind the High Street with open plan living area downstairs, one large airy double bedroom and one small cosy second bedroom. There is a nice bathroom with large walk- in shower, and large cottage windows . The cottage feels spacious and extremely light and sunny. There are blackout blinds and curtains in the bedrooms. Guest access The cottage is self contained with courtyard garden. One neighbour has access for recycling through garden . Other things to note This is my home and I love it and hope you will too ! It is also impersonal like a hotel and so you should feel that you are staying a friend’s house. I also expect you to treat it with the care and respect that I do .
