La Forge at Domaine de La Barde

Only a short walking distance to the centre of the small town of Le Bugue in the Perigord Noir of Dordogne, you will find the charming old forge of Domaine de La Barde. One bedroom self catering accommodation with an occupancy of 2 people maximum. The space Beautiful old fairy tale-like blacksmith's house from the 13th century. You will find a downstairs bedroom that keeps cool all summer with a large king-size bed of 160 cm x 200 cm. Your private bathroom with a corner shower is also found downstairs next to your bedroom. The stairs will lead you to an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room. Private terrace with table, chairs and parasol to enjoy a meal outside and take advantage of the gorgeous weather. The shared swimming pool is equipped with parasols and sunbeds. A tennis court found in the estate grounds near the pool is free to use for residents, please ask us for the rackets and tennis balls (to be returned after). A shared laundry room will also be available, free for your use during your stay. Crisp and comfy bed linens are provided and the bed will be completely made up upon your arrival. Soft bath towels, pool towels, bathrobes, blow-dryer, complimentary toiletries, starting supply of toilet tissue rolls is also provided. There will also be a starting supply in the kitchen of salt & pepper, oil, coffee pods for the Senseo coffee machine, washing up liquid as well as dishwasher tablets. Other things to note We are in walking distance to the town centre of Le Bugue. Due to the convenience of being in a small town with amenities, you may experience some traffic noise during the day.
