Angler’s - 1BR 1BA on the river

Come enjoy this unique rental - a garage converted into a 1 king-size bed, 1 bath unit. The highlight is the glass garage door providing a fantastic view of the Carrabelle river. You can enjoy the outdoors right from your living room! Everything is ground level. Fish off the dock with deep water access, fish cleaning station, water, electric. Kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook your catch, including a Weber grill and outdoor picnic table. Ideal for a couple’s getaway! The space Welcome to an eclectic 1BR/1BA ground -level home! The spacious living room boasts a view through a glass garage door overlooking the river. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail while overlooking the beautiful river and sunrise/sunset from the comfort of the indoors. (Note, garage door currently does not open.) The living area hosts a breakfast bar that seats 3, and the kitchen is equipped with stove, full refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. No dishwasher, garbage disposal or laundry facilities are included. There is a bait freezer in the living area. There is plenty of room to bring an air mattress for additional guests. The bedroom boasts a very comfortable king size bed with large dresser, shelves and clothes hangers. The bathroom has a standup shower with built in seat/shelf. Extra blankets are provided. High speed WiFi is included, and the smart TV has built-in Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Peacock included. DVD player with a selection of movies also provided. Cabinet in the hallway contains a selection of books for your enjoyment! Outside, a 2 burner Weber grill is provided, along with a picnic table with umbrella, and outdoor hose. The dock and driveway are both shared with Fisherman’s Access next door. Priority for boat docking is given to Fishermen’s Access when both units are rented. The driveway has ample space for parking for all. RV hookups are also available with this rental. Guidebook with local attractions and restaurant menus are available. Guest access Shared driveway and dock with "Fisherman's Access." However, privacy fences between them provide seclusion (even with family next door, I have no idea what's going on over there!). If bringing a boat, priority will be given to Fisherman's Access to tie up to the dock. But there is space on the side of the house to park boat and trailer, and there is a free boat launch just 2 miles away down Timber Island road. Other things to note There are black bears in the area. Be sure to clean outside areas of any food at the end of the day to avoid attracting them. We don't see them very often at all, but be prepared for this possibility. No swimming from the dock! The river is full of oyster beds that are very dangerous. If you have a boat, follow the channel markers (red on right on return). The river current can be very swift, and the tide can change by 3 or more feet in a day. Life jackets are provided under the stilt house and highly recommended for kids while on the dock!
