A most peaceful getaway

What does a spectacular oceanside getaway sound like? A gentle wind whispering off the water, occasional sea birds flying by, a quiet moon on the rise, early morning sunrise, silent. All by yourself. You will find this place in our cottage in Perry's Cove, Newfoundland. My parents lived on this land before confederation with Canada in 1949. Then it became a place for summer picnics and fall berry picking. My husband, Beni, and I built a passive home to welcome you—1h20 minutes from St. John's. The space This newly built open-concept saltbox home has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and amenities. We're located at the end of Kings Rd. (no house number but you can't miss our turquoise saltbox perched on the hillside in Perry's Cove, Newfoundland). Breathtaking views from four panoramic windows overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean where you might see icebergs, whales, and sea birds. Trails abound, sandy beaches in nearby Salmon Cove and an outdoor swimming pool in the community. Guest access You will have access to the entire cottage, with outdoor fire pit, wood provided. Other things to note The entire coast of this area called Conception Bay North offers an amazing afternoon drive ending at Northern Bay Sands for dining or walking a beautiful beach to watch the sunset.
