Lakefront Home on Lake Iroquois

Whether you're planning a family getaway or a trip with friends, this newly renovated lakefront home has everything you need for an iconic Vermont vacation: kayaks and paddle boards, private dock overlooking the lake and mountain views, 15-minute drive to Burlington, and world class hiking, mountain biking and skiing nearby. In 2023, our family embarked on a thoughtful renovation of this cozy 1950's lakeside cottage, ensuring that its Vermont charm and nostalgic ambiance were preserved while transforming it into a year-round vacation home for our family. It is nestled in a cove; allowing for calmer waters and peaceful sunrises. Each summer we put the 20 ft. dock in the water and a lake blanket alongside for swimming. Whether you're grilling on the deck or enjoying your morning cup of coffee; the views from the main floor are amazing! The screened in porch below the main level is a cozy dinner place to still watch the wildlife across the cove at the lily pads. The main floor is complete with dining bar that seats 4, full kitchen, cozy sitting area and pull-out couch in the TV living room and full bath (shower). Up the hardwood stairs you'll find two more generously sized bedrooms; one a king sized bed with picture window looking over the lake and the second a with two full sized beds. Serenity and the beauty of nature await you! It's all yours! You have full access to the house, with its own private dock. As well as access to paddle boards, kayaks, and life jackets. Guests will enter the home through the front doors at bottom is stairs with keyless entry, you will be provided a code as a part of your check-in instructions. You can message me through the AirBNB app to reach me during your stay. Lake Iroquois is known for families that some live year round and others are seasonal. It is a really welcoming community that we love! If you're flying into Vermont a rental car is recommended. During Spring, Summer and Fall months the road is easy to navigate, in the Winter months all-wheel drive is recommended. Limit 2 parking spaces at all times! If you will be using the pull-out couch, the extra linens are located in a plastic bin under the stairs and extra pillows are in the upstairs closets. There are only two homes on Cove Rd. so the driveway is shared. For this home there is a 2 car max, details on how to park are shared upon check-in and available in the welcome book.
