**Nightly rate is $250 + $50 for golf cart rental** Lubbers Lane Cottage is an escape located on the secluded cay of Lubbers Quarters in the heart of the Abacos. It offers access to island hop to nearby Elbow Cay, Hope Town, Tiloo Cay, Marsh Harbor, Man-o-war and many other surrounding islands. Our cottage sits on 2 acres of natural habitat, with it's very own beach on the Sea of Abaco. This is a getaway for those who want to disconnect from reality, and enjoy the simplicity of Bahamian life. Our cozy cottage went through renovations over the past year with brand new kitchen cabinets, countertops, appliances, floors and some bathroom updates. It's the perfect place to rest after a day of exploring and island hopping. Like most of the cay, our property is on natural rock and sand roads. You'll have full access to the main cottage, our private (shared) dock, beach and access to use the laundry in the storage building on site. While we are not on island all of the time, we are available during your stay! Our cottage is located on the south west side of Lubbers Quarters Cay with easy access to the roads of Lubbers and Lubbers Landing (on-island restaurant) which is near our dock. Use our golf cart to get around island. To get to/from Lubbers or to explore off island, a boat or charter will be needed. **A boat or charter will be needed - Boat access only** Lubbers Quarters Cay is a unique and special place but is not for everyone! It's a great escape; you can grab your provisions on Marsh Harbor and not leave Lubbers for the entirety of your stay (using the cottage's kitchen or eating at Lubber's Landing) OR you can island hop to visit local eateries: ~5 minute boat ride to Abaco Inn ~10 minute boat ride to Hope Town Marina which offers several dining, shopping, grocery and alcohol options ~15 minute boat ride to Marsh Harbor for restaurants, grocery shopping, etc. ~25 minute boat ride to Pete's Pub on Little Harbour ~30 minute boat ride to Nippers and Grabber's on Guana Cay We have a cistern water system (rain water) that is cleaned in the cistern and filtered at the house and sinks, however we recommend you use our water maker for drinking water. Depending on the humidity in the cottage, it should produce enough drinking water for around 3 guests. We recommend grabbing a few 2.5 gallon jugs of drinking water in Marsh Harbour if you are planning to have more guests than that. Our power on Lubbers runs under sea from nearby cays and sometimes has planned and unplanned outages. We have a generator and gas on site in the storage building, that can be used in the event that power goes out. Our caretaker will initiate the generator usage if the outage is expected to last more than a couple of hours. If the power goes out during the night, he will not be available to turn it on and will come in the morning if the power is still out. We will do our best to communicate planned outages to you during your stay. Check out our ig @lubberslane
