Relaxation and fun are at your fingertips in this home located in The Cottages of Summer Village gated community, where guests can enjoy the pools, playgrounds, tennis courts, sauna, hot tub, fitness room, horseshoe pit, volleyball courts, shuffleboard courts, and a game room. Explore many attractions within a 10-mile radius, such as Wonder Mountain Fun Park, the Ogunquit Museum of American Art, Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge, plus plenty of shopping and dining in Wells, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, York, Kittery, and Portsmouth. The beach is less than one mile away, where you can swim, sail, and surf. Don't forget to try some world-famous lobster before you leave! Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a feeling of welcome throughout the space. Relax on the plush furniture, carry on great conversations, stream your favorite movies on the large TV or play one of the owners' favorite board games. Prepare grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the full kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances and stocked with quality cookware, serveware, barware, and a dining table that seats six. The primary bedroom is outfitted with a comfortable queen-sized bed, the bunkroom is perfect for sleepovers, and there's an option of a queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress in the sunroom. Outside you'll find a gas grill and Adirondack chairs, plus chairs and an umbrella to borrow for your trip to the beach. When you vacation in gorgeous southern Maine, you'll make memories that will last a lifetime. THINGS TO KNOW To use streaming services, guests must log in with their own credentials. Smoking and vaping are not permitted. Summer Village has quiet hours from 11 pm to 8 am. Pools are seasonal Memorial Day through Columbus Day Guest access You'll need to complete a preregistration form at least 48 hours before arrival - you won't be allowed to check in without it. The Cottages at Summer Village office is your check-in point. Office hours are Sunday through Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Saturday 9am to 8pm. When you arrive during office hours, park in one of the five spaces on the right as you enter Summer Village, then walk around the stone wall and up the stairs to the office. The staff will provide you with a gate card, your cottage key, and a parking pass for the duration of your stay. If you'll arrive after office hours, call the office during business hours to let them know. If you don't call, they'll reach out starting around 4:30pm with after-hours check-in instructions. You'll receive a lockbox number and code; the lockboxes are located at the stone wall near those five parking spaces. The office will leave a one-day parking pass at the cottage, and you can pick up your full parking pass the next morning when you visit the office. An emergency on-call number will be posted on the office door if you need assistance after hours. If early check-in becomes available, you'll receive an SMS text message offering it. Other things to note The community offers excellent shared amenities, all included with your stay: three pools (one adults-only, two family pools with a heated kiddie pool), a game room with pool tables, air hockey, foosball and video games, two playgrounds, shuffleboard and bocce ball courts, a tennis court, fitness center, hot tub, and sauna. Covered pavilion grills are available for community use at the pool area. Your cottage has a private gas grill - please clean it after use. Two smart TVs are in the home: one in the living room with cable, and one in the master bedroom. Your reservation includes a Damage Waiver covering up to $3,000 of accidental damage. The starter amenities provided (linens, towels, coffee, etc.) are complementary but not intended to supply your entire stay. You're welcome to pick up additional supplies as needed during your visit.
