Because both houses and the property are historic and vintage Miami from the 1920s the driveways are narrow by modern standards. The driveway can comfortably fit small cars, sedans, sports cars, mini vans and compact SUVs. If you are planning on bringing a larger vehicle, such as a full size van, pick up truck, or large SUV you will more than likely need to park at the end/beginning of the guest house, driveway or utilize our off-street parking directly in front of the house. These Packages can also be customized based on the occasion. Please note that these services MUST be requested and paid no later than 7 days in advance of your check in date. We will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, but cannot make any guarantee of the above services. Please note we do not provide alcohol to any guests under the age of 21. ***PLEASE be sure to read our rule book and house manual PRIOR to your stay as this is a vintage Miami bungalow / guest house and the host lives on the property at the main house, there are shared yard and driveway areas that are not fully private. Please keep in mind. This is a historic home and as such, it has minor imperfections. We do not advertise, nor are we suitable for guests with disabilities as both the porch and living room and kitchen areas have small step up features that may impact persons with mobility issues, Neglecting to read the rule book and house manual does not release you from the obligation to follow these rules and instructions. If you are a family please message us about our availability to host guests under the age of 18. Guest access Casita Luna is the guest house. Guests have their own access to the backyard guest house and their own accompanying driveway as well as their own porch, hot tub, yard and garden of the guest house. The guest house and yard is separated from the main house by a fence and 100 year old Banyan Tree. The laundry room is located behind the main house and is also available by request. Please note there are shared spaces with the backyards, driveways, porches and laundry room. Please note that the hosts sometimes live on the property at the main house and other times we rent out to guests. For this reason, we kindly ask that you do not disturb guests at the main house at any time during your stay. If you have any questions or needs that arise, please reach out to us via the Airbnb app. We have 24/7 security surveillance in exterior areas only for the safety and security of owners, guests and our property. Other things to note This property is located in a tropical climate zone that is prone to high heat and torrential downpours in the summer months. In South Florida there are lots of wildlife that tend to visit or roam the backyard. We have owls, bats, opossums, lizards, tree frogs, hawks, parrots, a variety of birds, several species of butterflies, snakes (non-poisonous), moths and the occasional cicada, and yes cockroaches, mosquitos and ants. The property is sprayed monthly by pest control but it is Florida so you may see these things more than you would normally in less warm and tropical climates. If you are experiencing a serious pest issue please contact the host. We also highly recommend packing bug spray and sunscreen for the warmer months. Per AirBnb's listing requirement, we are required to notify you of possibility of encountering any of the above insects and animals on this property. We have a pest control service to deal with these creatures. If you come across any of them, you must contact us via AirBnB's Direct Message system immediately. We will work to take timely action to deal with anything that you may discover both inside our house or outside on our property. Many of these creatures are free roaming. We do not have control of anything that occurs on neighboring properties, on the city maintained streets and byways and cannot be held liable for their maintenance of the same. Please refrain from feeding any stray cats in the neighborhood.
