Description
*** Half term deals*** Available on stays booked for 3 nights and over - message for details Stylish and spacious contemporary 4 bed home in the heart of the Chilterns, with beautiful views over the valley and walking distance to Great Missenden - home of Roald Dahl, Misseden Abbey Wedding Venue and two of the best country pubs in the area. This clean and well presented home can snuggly sleep up to 8 adults, has 2 bathrooms, outdoor space and has off road parking for 3 cars. The space Casa Papa is a fresh, but functional family home, with beautiful panoramic views across the Chilterns. Downstairs, the kitchen has all the expected home comforts, including coffee machine and coffee grinder, there are also cafetières which can be used. The bright and light dining space can comfortably sit 6, or 8 if you are close friends. The conservatory leads onto a courtyard patio and a lush established multi-tier garden - with pond, although in the summer this has very little water in it! There is combination washer dryer in the downstairs shower room and a work space with views across the valley. The living room has a gas open fire, which is turned on with the flick of a switch - ultimate luxury with none of the work! There is a 55" TV smart and sound bar and you can also bluetooth your music via the set up. Upstairs, there are 2 large bedrooms, both with king sized beds, and views over either the garden or over the Chilterns. In one of the rooms there is day-bed, which can be pulled into a full sized double on request - or will be able to fit a cot. The littlest bedroom has a small double bed, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in style! All beds and bedding are new! The bathroom has a bath and shower, the shower being separate from the boiler - meaning unlimited hot water and showers for the whole family! Guest access Guest's can access using the lockbox by the front door - we'll send the code in a welcome email before they arrive Other things to note This is a 1960's home, which since being in my family, its been our home, a place to work and a bachelor pad. It has its design quirks, some we'll change over time - other we'll always enjoy...such as the stairs outside. You have to climb a set of stairs to get to the front door. There are also open banisters on around the stairs on the upper floor. So people with toddlers need to be aware (although my son was a baby there and we had no issues, we want to flag in case).
