This modern cozy 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home sleeps up to 6 guests, and is suitable for couples, families or a relaxing girls/boys weekend away. Featuring a fully appointed kitchen, with coffee machine and dishwasher, large private covered outdoor entertaining space, with an indulgent outdoor spa. There is a beautiful private deck out the front with swing chair and fire pit to soak up the sunset views. There is a one car garage with internal access, and two undercover (shade sail) car spaces. The space Welcome to a 'tropical gem', located in a prestigious elevated street in Calwell, providing a perfect blend of comfort, style and a slice of luxury. As you arrive and walk up to the front door, you are greeted by stunning green palm trees and magnolias, a luxurious front deck with a swing chair and fire pit to soak up those sunset/sunrise views. As you step inside, you are greeted by a beautifully appointed living space to relax and unwind, and a dining room next to the functional kitchen with access to the rear entertaining space. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need including plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, chop sticks, utensils, (including plastic plates/bowls/cups/utensils for the kids), pots, pans, trays, a stainless steel electric frypan, coffee machine with pods and an assortment of teas/herbal teas, kettle, toaster, microwave, electric cooktop and Bosch oven. We also provide a selection of pantry and fridge staple items including herbs/spices, tomato/BBQ sauces, salt/pepper, cooking oils, cling wrap, foil, baking paper, etc. which remain at the property for all guests to utilise. There is also a dishwasher with dishwasher tablets provided. The bedrooms are cozy with fresh linens, extra blankets and full length mirrored wardrobes with plenty of storage space for your belongings. There are 2 split system reverse cycle heating/cooling units, one in the lounge and one in the master bedroom, which heat or cool the whole house down nicely. There is a separate toilet and bathroom fitted out with all the essentials for your stay including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer, etc. There is a good size laundry with a washing machine and dryer. Clothes washing tablets are provided. The large outdoor entertaining space boasts tranquility with an indulgent outdoor jacuzzi/spa bath surrounded by palm trees and ferns, a six person dining table and two sun beds, the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a BBQ and a glass of wine (or two). There is a one car garage with remote and internal access, including standard power points for charging electric vehicles, and two undercover (shade sail) car spaces located next to the garage, providing plenty of off road parking for our guests. We are pet friendly for dogs only, and up to two dogs under 35kg. The yard is fully fenced and secure. Guest access You will have full access to the entire home during your stay, including the secure single garage, which has a remote, standard power points for charging electric vehicles and internal access to the home, offering you a private and comfortable retreat. Other things to note This home is in the ideal location for day trips to the beautiful South Coast beaches or the ski slopes/mountain bike tracks/hiking adventures of the snowy mountains, which are only a short 2 hour (approx.) drive away. Take an even shorter journey to the award winning Canberra region wineries, breweries and distilleries that are also right on the doorstep with only a 30 minute - 1 hour drive away. If you love exploring nature, there the many nature reserves, mountain ranges, botanical gardens and scenic walking trails in and around Canberra, including a few of our favourites - Mt Ainslie, Booroomba Rocks, Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, Black Mountain, Murrumbidgee Discovery Track, National Arboretum, Australian National Botanic Gardens, Namadgi National Park, Gibraltar Falls. There is a portacot and highchair available (if required), and kids toys and a selection of board games are also included for our guests to use. Wood for the firepit can be purchased from the Calwell petrol station.
